about

Destaque para a letra com bons recortes filosóficos como nos versos ''Reflections on the mirror / It shows a living thing''

''Stay'', a segunda música, com o refrão que diz ''Stay / you know it can’t be real / Stay / There’s nothing in between / Stay / Reality is not the same'' é quase um contraponto de sua antecessora.

''How Could I Know?'' mantém a pegada com Victor Barros soltando ainda mais o vocal e me evocou em certas passagens, referências como de Neil Young e do próprio Pearl Jam.

Track Name: Calling Home
I know a thing or two
about life, about life
sympthons of a past time
they crawl now, where they used to hide

Reflections on the mirror
it shows a living thing
that wasn't there before
Everything is linear

I'm calling home
where your heart belongs to
I'm calling home
where the future lies

Walking on the street i see
you standing there
the same old girl i used to love
but different in many ways

Time ran but you stood still
and there was nothing left to say
I'm calling home
where your heart belongs to
I'm calling home
where the future lies

Victor Barros
Track Name: Stay
I don't wanna even say i know your name
afraid to make it real
i don't wanna even talk about these things
like a pair without a fate

there's no answer in the stars
or on your destination
all i want is the reason behind your eyes
nothing else
nothing else
nothing else

Stay
you know it can't be real
stay
there's nothing in between
stay
reality is not the same

i wake up
my heart is cold

my shadow turns to me
to say something but the noise
is in my ears
wandering aimlessly
across the night
looking for my way out

Stay
you know it can't be real
stay
there's nothing in between
stay
i'm lost within myself
stay
reality is not the same

i wake up
my heart is cold

Track Name: How Could I Know?
Evening decays with so much freedom
Deep your heart defends all your unrest
Once that you step closer to my shadow
Everything you care will disappear

All that you cared was vain
Numbing your own pain
Regardless of the hate
How could I know this feeling?

Evening decays with so much freedom
Deep your heart defends all your unrest
Once that you step closer to my shadow
Everything you care will disappear

All that you cared was vain
Numbing your own pain
Regardless of the hate
How could I know this feeling?

Track Name: Down and Out
I've been living it out
from across the sea of circumstance
The choice is not give you
any more regrets

And i've been searching for a reason to know you
I need you somewhere
Searching for a heart when it's cold
and there's no one out there

And i've been searching high and low
is there another place to try?
within the darkness of my mind

I've been down
And Out
I've been down
And out

And i've been searching for a reason to know you
I need you somewhere
Searching for a heart when it's cold
and there's no one out there

And i've been searching high and low
is there another place to try?
within the darkness of my mind

I've been down
And Out
I've been down
And out

Track Name: Expectations
You break the window
you kick the door to the ground
You try to run, but eventually
you realize

That confidence is a game
and things are not how they used to be
and the feeling you once grabbed with ease
is now impossible to reach

You crossed the path
of sanity many times
only this time we can't
swim for shore

Because modern life is fake
and things are not how they used to be
and the feeling you once grabbed with ease
is now impossible to reach

The sun is going down
by your window
this how your life
has always been

the sun is going down
beside the window
this how your life
will always be

We grow up
We grow apart
We grow up
We grow apart

Track Name: The Fire
The pacing now is too slow for us to get moving
I thought you could make me feel
a lot more than this
You want to run away
No one can stay
Around you
Around you

This is the action of the gods towards something simple
Your knees were trembling out
You never thought of me
Before i disappeared
the fire is casting shadows

Now the letters that you send me
Are somewhat different
Your words are so far away
As if from a dream
You had to run away
No one could stay

This is the action of the gods towards something simple
Your knees were trembling out
You never thought of me
Before i disappeared
the fire is casting shadows
